The Supreme Court has directed the Uttar Pradesh government to produce two men arrested following violence during a workers’ protest in Noida amid allegations of custodial torture raised by their families. Senior advocate Colin Gonsalves told the court that one accused, Aditya, was an engineer and children’s library operator who actively campaigned for workers’ rights.
