Kuwait’s Municipal Council approved the route for a high-speed railway linking Kuwait with Saudi Arabia’s capital Riyadh. The Kuwaiti section of the 500-kilometer railway will extend around 85 kilometers from the Saudi border to the Shadadiya area near the new university city.
