Mark Wahlberg in The Departed absolutely steals every scene he’s in. As Dignam, he’s aggressive, foul-mouthed, hilarious, and somehow the only guy in the room who always feels one step ahead. Even surrounded by legends like DiCaprio, Damon, and Nicholson, Wahlberg’s energy is unforgettable. Every insult lands, every stare feels intimidating, and by the end, he leaves one of the coolest final impressions in the entire movie.
