Petrol and diesel prices have been increased again across major Indian cities, marking the fourth fuel hike in less than two weeks amid rising global crude oil prices and a weakening rupee. State-owned oil companies raised petrol prices by Rs 2.61 per litre and diesel by Rs 2.71 per litre, taking cumulative increases since May 15 to nearly Rs 7.5 per litre.
