The United States announced fresh strikes on southern Iran targeting missile sites and boats allegedly attempting to place naval mines, describing the operation as an act of self-defense during the ongoing ceasefire period. US Central Command said the attacks were intended to protect American troops from potential threats posed by Iranian forces. Iran has not officially responded, though officials stated that talks to end the conflict are progressing slowly. #UnitedStates #Iran #MiddleEast #Mili
