Kuwait has approved the dissolution of Kuwait Integrated Petroleum Industries Company and its merger into Kuwait National Petroleum Company, according to a decision published in the official gazette Kuwait Al-Youm. Under the merger, KNPC will assume all rights, obligations and responsibilities previously held by KIPIC.
