Saudi Arabia’s wholesale and retail trade sector recorded strong growth in the first quarter of 2026, with the general operating revenue index rising 7.3 percent compared with the same period last year. According to preliminary data released by GASTAT, the index also increased 0.5 percent from the previous quarter.
