Denmark is set to form a new centre-left minority government months after an inconclusive general election. Acting Prime Minister Mette Frederiksen, leader of the Social Democratic Party, announced that an agreement had been reached following lengthy coalition negotiations. The Social Democrats emerged as the largest party in the election but recorded their weakest result in more than a century.
