Royal Challengers Bengaluru batter Tim David has been suspended for the opening match of IPL 2027 after throwing an ice bag toward umpire Nitin Menon during the IPL 2026 final against Gujarat Titans. The IPL fined the Australian all-rounder 50 percent of his match fee and imposed two demerit points for a Level 1 offence. Officials said the action violated the league’s code of conduct regarding inappropriate conduct toward match officials. #TimDavid #RCB #IPL2026 #IPL2027 #Cricket #SportsNews
