The Zoological Survey of India has identified four locations along the western coast of Great Nicobar Island for coral translocation efforts linked to major infrastructure projects. Scientists said each relocated coral colony will be tagged with GPS coordinates to enable long-term monitoring and survival assessment. The initiative aims to reduce ecological impacts while preserving fragile marine ecosystems in one of India’s most biodiverse regions. #GreatNicobar #CoralReef #Environment #Conserva
