Women in Kerala can now travel free on state-run buses under the newly launched Priyadarshini scheme, fulfilling a major election promise of the Congress-led UDF government. The initiative aims to improve mobility, reduce transportation costs, and encourage greater participation of women in education, employment, and public life. Kerala joins several southern states that have introduced similar programs to support women commuters. #Kerala #WomenEmpowerment #PublicTransport #India #Priyadarshini
