A British couple sailing in the English Channel described a “surreal”… – Jacob Smith

A British couple sailing in the English Channel described a “surreal” encounter after a Russian warship fired warning shots near their yacht. The incident occurred off the Isle of Wight when the UK-registered vessel came close to the Russian frigate Admiral Grigorovich. While Russia claimed the yacht posed a navigational risk, the couple denied being on a collision course. British authorities have described the event as an isolated incident. #UK #Russia #EnglishChannel #MaritimeSecurity #WorldNe
