Andy Burnham secured a decisive victory in the Makerfield by-election, winning nearly 25,000 votes and defeating Reform UK's Robert Kenyon by more than 9,000. The result strengthens Burnham’s position as a potential challenger to Keir Starmer for the Labour leadership. In his speech, Burnham warned Labour that this could be its “final chance to change,” calling the result a possible turning point in British politics. #UKPolitics #LabourParty #AndyBurnham #KeirStarmer #Election
